Free movies

I used to live down the road from Metro.  It was handy for late-night cravings for capers and salmon.  It was also handy for Air Miles collection. Yes, I know it's a wonderful initiative by fat cats to track spending habits of average citizens.  I hope that my spending habits bring the flabby weak-eyed devils much joy.  My green pepper and almond milk purchases must fill the rooms with excitement.
On the plus side,  I do collect Air Miles, and I like that they can be used for endeavours other than flight. From time to time, Tyson and I cash our Air Miles in for movie tickets. For 200 points, you can get two movie passes with a regular popcorn and two regular drinks. Not a bad deal for purchasing olives and toilet paper.  So, Tyson and I went to the movies courtesy of Metro last night.

We saw the movie Guardians of the Galaxy. First off, I must say that they shouldn't consider Bradley Cooper to be one of the actors, when all he does is voice an animated racoon.  Sheer disappointment.  But, Chris Pratt had his shirt off a few times, so that sort of made up for it.  The fact that it was free, as was the salty bag of popcorn certainly helped to quell the sadness of no Bradley sightings.

Overall, though no Bradley, the shirtless Chris Pratt, silly humour and swollen fingers from all the salty popcorn made it a great evening of budgeting with my honey!
